I was pleasantly surprised that I received a complimentary jar (buy one get one free) of the Sour Cherry Jam - unaware at time of purchase. I love sour cherries & expected a preferred tarter taste, however, while the jam is ok, it’s on the sweeter side. I like that there are whole cherries, the rest is jellied juice instead of puréed cherries. Am not fond of jelly jams, preferring more of the fruit mashed in. Also, the eurofood site only shows a photo of the front of the product, not the back, so cannot see the ingredients, only giving a description & use of the product. Had I seen the chemically manufactured citric acid E330 (acidity regulator) on the label, I wouldn’t have purchased it & likely won’t again. And as a result, am wary of other Forest Treasures products. Lemon juice/extract would be more natural & better. The Austrian Apricot Spread contains lemon juice for the acidity, which I prefer.
To Eurofood, please display front & back of products, so list of ingredients are visible as this makes a big difference in purchasing.
