Not the best Salmiak Rock around

It might be because this batch is out of date (which doesn't really affect confectionery much) but this brand is not as good as the last Dutch-made rock I bought. That type was oiled and simply tasted better than these dry ones.

Salmiak rock licorice near use by date

Taste is good but it is sticky near use by date requiring a hand wash after touching. Was it good value at the discount price, YES. Would I buy again? Very maybe but having bought other licorice varieties I’ll use those first. Do I recommend Eurofoods, absolutely!
